Our story
A carpet is a year of someone's life.
NSF began in a two-loom workshop in downtown Srinagar. Today we work with two dozen families across the valley — pashmina spinners in Ladakh, kani weavers in Kanihama, knotters and sozni embroiderers in the old city. We pay by the piece, not by the hour, and every item carries the name of the hands that made it.
